NOTE: Only if Service Pack 2 is not installed
Only complete the steps in this section if your Windows XP configuration
does not have Service Pack 2. This is the case with all hardware
configurations prior to FX.
Is Windows XP, Service Pack 2 installed?
Click "Start" / "Settings" / "Control panel" in the task bar.

Double-click the "System" icon in the "Control panel" window.

The "System Properties" window opens. You can check the
Service Pack version here. Then close the window.
2.1 Installing Service Pack 2
CAUTION: No operation during the installation
Do not operate the acquisition unit while an installation is in progress.
1. Insert the DVD labeled "SIRONA Wireless LAN" in the DVD drive.
2. Open Explorer and select the DVD drive.
On the DVD, change to the directory "ServicePack2"/ "EN" and double-
click the file "SP2_EN.bat".
Service Pack 2 is automatically installed. The acquisition unit will
restart after the end of the installation.
