2.9.3 Opening the thread tension for the final bartack

Rule:
The upper thread tension 5 should open when the stitches are
changed from the right to the left lip.
Setting:
–
Turn the crank until the machine stands short from the first bartack.
–
Continue turning the hand wheel and watch at the same time the
stitch position lever 6 as well as the needle thread tension 5.
–
Loosen the screws 7.
–
Displace the releasing sheet 8 according to the Rule and tighten
the screws 7 .

Rule:
The upper thread tension should open when the machine stands
1 - 2 Stitches from the final bartack.
Setting:
–
Turn the crank until the machine stands short from the final bartack.
–
Continue turning the machine by the hand wheel and watch at the
same time the stitch position lever 6 as well as the needle thread
tension 5.
–
Loosen the screws 9.
–
Shift the releasing sheet 10 according to the Rule and tighten the
screws 9.
