(5b) is exposed in the opening.
2. Carefully slide the saw blade guard (5) over the
riving knife (4).
15.4.2 Removing the table inlay (fig. 9)
1. Loosen the countersunk head screw (6a).
2. Remove the table inlay (6) from the saw table.
15.4.3 Removing the saw blade guard (fig. 23 + 24)
PREREQUISITE: The saw blade (3) has been set to
the maximum cutting depth (see 10.2).
1. Place the open-ended spanner 22 mm (37) on the
outer saw blade flange (3b) and secure the drive
shaft (3c) in this way.
2. Turn the fixing nut (3d) counterclockwise with the
open-ended spanner 22 mm (37) to undo the fix-
ing nut (3d).
3. Hold the saw blade (3) carefully with one hand
4. Remove the fixing nut (3d) and outer saw blade
flange (3b) from the drive shaft (3c).
5. Now remove the saw blade (3) from the drive shaft
(3c) and carefully draw it up and out of the saw table.
ATTENTION!
There is a reducer ring (3e) on the shaft, which must
also be removed.
15.4.4 Fitting the saw blade (fig. 23 + 24)
1. Clean the external and internal saw blade flange
(3b/3a) carefully, before fitting a new saw blade
(3).
2. Clean the reducer ring (3e) and put it back in
place.
3. Place a new saw blade (3) on the drive shaft (3c).
Observe the rotational direction: The cutting an-
gle of the teeth must point in the running direction
(forwards). The running direction is usually also
marked on the saw blade.
4. Fit the outer saw blade flange (3b) back on the
drive shaft (3c). Ensure the correct alignment of
the outer saw blade flange (3b).
5. Screw the fixing nut (3d) tight onto the drive shaft
(3c) with the hand.
6. Carefully turn the saw blade (3) in the running
direction: It must be precisely centred and must
not "wobble". Check that the saw blade (3) and
outer saw blade flange (3b) are sitting correctly
and align the parts once more, if the saw blade is
not precisely centred.

8. Mount the table inlay (6) and the saw blade guard
