2. Lower the saw blade guard (5) onto the saw table.
When sawing, the saw blade guard (5) is pushed
by the workpiece.
3. Firmly press the workpiece against the transverse
stop (7).
4. Switch on the extraction system and then the cir-
cular table saw.
5. To make the cut, slide the transverse stop (7) and
the workpiece in the direction of the saw blade.
11.4 Cutting narrow workpieces (fig. 21)
Be sure to use a push stick (24) when making longitu-
dinal cuts in workpieces smaller than 120 mm in width.
With short workpieces, use the push stick (24) from
the beginning.
1. Adjust the parallel stop (2) according to the work-
piece height and the desired width (see 10.4).
2. Place your hands flat on the workpiece with your
fingers closed and slide it along the parallel stop
(2) into the saw blade.
3. Always push the workpiece through to the end of
the riving knife (4) with the push stick (24).
11.5 Cutting extremely n arrow workpieces (fig. 22)
Be sure to use a wooden push block (24a) when mak-
ing longitudinal cuts in very narrow workpieces with a
width of 50 mm and less.
The wooden push block (24a) is not included in the
scope of delivery! (Available from your specialist deal-
er) Replace the wooden push block (24a) without de-
lay when it becomes worn.
During sawing, workpieces can become jammed
between the parallel stop (2) and the saw blade (3),
caught by the saw blade (3) and then ejected at
speed. For this reason, the lower guide surface of the
parallel stop (2) should be favoured (see fig. 14). Shift
the stop rail (2a) if required (see 10.4.2).
1. Adjust the parallel stop (2) according to the work-
piece height and the desired width (see 10.4).
2. Use the wooden push block (24a) to press the
workpiece against the stop rail (2) and use the
push stick (24) to push the workpiece through to
the end of the riving knife (4).
11.6 Cutting chipboard
To prevent the cutting edges from breaking when cut-
ting chipboard, do not set the saw blade (3) higher
than 5 mm above the thickness of the workpiece (also
see 10.2).
11.7 After sawing
1. Switch off the circular table saw first and then the
extraction system. The saw blade continues to
run for a longer time.
2. Disconnect the circular table saw from the mains
by pulling the mains plug out of the power socket.
3. Do not remove the cut waste on the saw table until
the saw blade has returned to its resting position.
4. Allow the circular table saw to cool down com-
pletely.
11.8 Removing jammed material
m WARNING!
Danger of injury for fingers and hands due to sharp
edges
- Wear protective gloves.
• Switch off the circular table saw immediately and
disconnect the mains plug from the power socket if
the saw blade is jammed in the workpiece or other
blockages occur.
• Use protective gloves and do not touch the saw
blade with your bare hands.

12. Transport

1. Always switch off the power tool before transport
and disconnect it from the power supply.
2. Always carry the electric tool with at least one oth-
er person, do not carry by the table extensions.
3. Protect the electrical tool from impacts, shocks
and severe vibrations, e.g. during vehicular trans-
port.
4. Secure the power tool against toppling and slip-
ping.
5. Never use protective devices for handling or
transport.
