4. Lift the tab (21) on the lint filter (5) and open
the lint filter (5).

5. Remove the inner filter (22).
6. Use either a soft brush or running water to
thoroughly clean the lint filter (5) and the
inner filter (22).
7. Thoroughly dry the lint filter (5) and the in-
ner filter (22).
8. Re-insert the inner filter (22) into the lint fil-
ter (5) and the lint filter (5) into the bracket.
Ensure that the lint filter (5) is inserted in
the correct position.

Cleaning the bottom filter

The bottom filter (4) is designed to protect the
heat exchanger (25). Lint accumulated in the
bottom filter, however, can block air circula-
tion and increase both the energy consump-
tion and the drying duration required. We
therefore recommend cleaning the bottom
filter (4) after every fifth drying cycle or when
the cycle duration is extended.

1. Pull the mains plug out of the socket.
2. Push down the locking clips (23) and
open the cover (3) for the bottom filter (4).

3. Open the three locking levers (24) by turn-
ing them anticlockwise away from the
position.

4. Remove the bottom filter (4) from the hold-
er, and remove the lint.
You can also clean the bottom filter (4) un-
der running water.
5. Dry the bottom filter (4) thoroughly after-
wards.
