2. Before plugging in the machine, make sure that the power supply
voltage is the same as that shown on the specifications plate.
3. Always keep hands clear of the cutting area. Always hold the ma-
chine safely.
4. Always use original VIRUTEX tools. Never use defective or damaged
tools.
5. Always use cutter bits with the appropriate stem diameter for the
chuck collet and tool speed to be used.

The following concepts are dealt with in the different sections of this

Minimum rebate required A (Fig. 1), for fitting a certain hinge with
the FR1129T and with template, should be at least the same width as
hinge wing B (Fig. 1) + 6 mm.
Templates for special hinges are manufactured in accordance with the
width of the rebate and not the thickness of the door, although both
measurements are normally the same, unless otherwise requested in
the order form. If the thickness of the door is less than the width of
the rebate, the hinge will fit correctly into the frame. However, in the
door the hinge cylinder will project from the door face by the difference
in the two thicknesses.

3. UNPACKING

Inside the transporting case the following items will be found (Fig.
2):
1. Router model FR1129T with cutter bit Ø: 7.6 mm (H.M.)
2. Base with template for 9.5 mm long hinges for doors with 35 mm
of rebate and template guide of 12 mm external diameter
3. Hinge distributor tube for three-hinge door
4. Hinge distributor tube for four-hinge door
5. Hinge distributor connector
6. Phillips screwd river
7. 11 mm wrench to block motor axle and secure pointers
8. 19 mm wrench for chuck securing nut
9. 4 mm allen wrench for adjusting frame/door gap
10. Centering attachment for reinforcing hinge.
4. ASSEMBLING THE ROUTER
Remove bolt C (Fig. 2).
Fit motor body 1 (Fig. 2) to the column on machine base 2 (Fig. 3).
Check the vertical movement of the motor body in the column.
Secure bolt C (Fig. 3).
Check that the template guide moves freely lengthways and sideways
in the template shape.
5. GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF THE ROUTER FOR FITTING
HINGUES
The machine is made up of the following components and performs
the following tasks:
5.1 Motor body 1 (Fig. 3), which, via the motor axis, supplies the necessary
power and revolutions to the miller to perform recessing.
5.2 Base 2 (Fig. 3), made up of template D (Fig. 3) and the components
for securing and regulating the frame and door, and which enables
motor body 1 (Fig. 3) to move sideways, lengthways and inwardly to
perform the routing of the recess. Base 2 (Fig. 3) allows the recesses
for the hinges to be placed on the frame, by placing it on the width

of the rebate (Fig. 1 and 4), and stopping it on inner frame face R (Fig.
2
1 and 4) or on the thickness of the door (Fig. 13).
It is also possible to fit hinges to doors without rebates, taking the
reference from the outer frame face with screws C1 (Fig. 17), as ex-
plained in section 10.
Base 2 (Fig. 4) is secured to the frame or door by tightening clamp
vises E (Fig. 4), by turning crank handles F (Fig. 4).
