Installation
Connecting terminal of the extra-low voltage side (≤ 24 V)

Terminal Description

BUS
Connection of the BUS system to the controller, module, heat
source, e.g. operation as an integrated system from conventional
and alternative heat sources and coding switch setting 1.

Special conditions

In a few devices, the terminal for the BUS system is labelled with
EMS.
The two BUS systems must not be mixed. Use only BUS or the BUS
terminal (addr. 9-10).
• 1, 2: On/Off (zero potential, max. 24 V)
• 3: Earth
• 4: 0-10 V signal
Connecting terminal EV / I3 to conventional heat source (only for
control units that are not supported, see Chapter 2.1, page 31)
• 1: Earth
• 2: PWM/0-10 V output
• 3: PWM Input
Only necessary with coding switch setting 9 and 10.
Necessary with coding switch setting 10.
May be required for the better detection of the operation of the
alternative heat source if the flow temperature sensor TA1 cannot be
placed directly in the alternative heat source.
Special conditions
15, 16: NO contact zero potential, max. 230 V AC/10 W
• 1: Earth
• 2: PWM/0-10 V output
• 3: PWM Input
When connecting a mixing valve: system flow temperature sensor
TB4 must be installed so that the set flow temperature is controlled
via the mixing valve.
When connecting a 3-way valve: terminal 44 is without function up to
version NF03.02 (before 11/2021) System flow temperature
sensor TB4 is optional.
• 43: buffer cylinder position (valve position to/100 %;
normally closed)
• 44: bypass position (valve position closed/0 %; normally open)
• 43: AWE setting (mixing valve pos. return increase 100 %)
• 44: Bypass position (valve control past AWE; mixing valve pos.
return increase 0 %)
14:
• Bypass position: valve position open/100 %; currentless
• Alternative heat source position: valve position closed/0 %;
through return spring
