3.1

Intended use

The BEA 070 (opacimeter) measures emissions in diesel
vehicles.
The BEA 070 can be used as a stand-alone unit or with
the BEA 550 or with the BEA 950.

If the BEA 070 and the supplied accessories are
operated contrary to the way specified by the ma-
nufacturer in the operating instructions, the pro-
tection provided by the BEA 070 and the supplied
accessories may be compromised.

Required equipment

The BEA 070 can only be used via a PC/laptop and
with the BEA-PC system software.
