Return to Home (RTH)
With the RTH function, the quadrocopter [1] automatically returns to the start-
ing point. This function can only be selected with GPS activated.
The RTH function has three different modes:
– Smart RTH: Press the Return to Home button [19] on the remote
control [5]. The remote control [5] emits an acoustic signal and the
GPS/Return to Home LED [18] flashes constantly. The quadrocopter [1]
returns to its starting point. Press the Return to Home button [19] again
to cancel the Return To Home process. Pull the left control lever [21]
backwards to land the quadrocopter [1] safely.
– Automatic RTH: The automatic RTH function is triggered when the
charge level of the battery [4] of the quadrocopter [1] is too low or the
connection between the remote control and the quadrocopter has been
disconnected. The quadrocopter [1] automatically flies to within approx.
30 m of the take-off point so that you can automatically control the
landing process.
– Connection loss RTH: This RTH function is triggered when the connection
of the remote control [5] to the quadrocopter [1] is lost. Reconnect the
quadrocopter [1] as soon as the quadrocopter [1] appears in the field
of view. You can then control the quadrocopter [1] manually again and
land it safely.
Notice! Attention!
– The RTH function can only be selected and is active when the GPS is
activated.
– The quadrocopter [1] has no automatic obstacle detection.
