Maintenance and Troubleshooting
Quadrocopter does not respond
– Check whether the battery [4] of the quadrocopter [1] and the battery
of the remote control [5] are sufficiently charged. If necessary, charge
the battery [4] of the quadrocopter [1] and the remote control [5].
– Check if the distance between the quadrocopter [1] and the remote
control [5] is more than 500 – 600 metres.
– Check whether another remote control or a similar source of interferen-
ce in the vicinity may be interfering with the frequency of the remote
control [5]. If necessary, move sufficiently away from the source of
interference.
Quadrocopter no longer shows good flight characteristics mehr
– Check the product for obvious damage or contamination. If there is con-
tamination, clean the unit carefully (chapter "Cleaning" on page 107).
If damaged, replace the rotors [31] and [36] or dispose of the device
properly.
– Check whether the rotors [31] and [36] may have been mounted incor-
rectly when they were replaced (chapter "Replacing the rotor blades"
on page 104).
Quadrocopter constantly flies to one side or up/down
– Check whether the battery of the quadrocopter [1] and the batteries of the
remote control [5] are sufficiently charged. If necessary, charge the battery
[4], the batteries of the remote control [5] and the quadrocopter [1].
– Check whether trimming of the quadrocopter [1] is necessary (chapter
"Trimming the flight attitude with deactivated GPS" on page 104).
