Explanation of symbols

Warnings
In warnings, signal words at the beginning of a warning are used
to indicate the type and seriousness of the ensuing risk if
measures for minimizing danger are not taken.
The following signal words are defined and can be used in this
document:
DANGER
DANGER indicates that severe or life-threatening personal
injury will occur.
WARNING
WARNING indicates that severe to life-threatening personal
injury may occur.
CAUTION
CAUTION indicates that minor to medium personal injury may
occur.
NOTICE
NOTICE indicates that material damage may occur.
Important information
The info symbol indicates important information where there is
no risk to people or property.

General safety instructions

H General description
These installation and operation instructions are directed to the
user of the device as well as to approved electricians.
▶ Read and retain the installation and operation instructions
prior to the installation and operation of the device.
▶ Observe the safety and warning instructions.
▶ The Power Charge 7000i must only be installed by an
approved contractor.
▶ Follow applicable national and regional regulations,
technical regulations and guidelines.
▶ Unauthorized users cannot access the charging system.
▶ Document all work performed.

If you are uncertain about how to run the unit, please contact
the installation personnel.
WARNING
To prevent electric shock or fire:
▶ Do not wash the electric box of the unit.
▶ Do not operate the unit with wet hands.
▶ Do not place any items that contain water on the unit.
▶ Do not connect the power plug with step-up transformer.
NOTICE
▶ Do not place any object or equipment on top of the unit.
▶ Do not sit, climb, or stand on the unit.
▶ Do not trample on the unit.
H Intended use
The Power Charge 7000i is exclusively intended to:
• Charge the vehicles in private and semi-public sectors
(e.g., private properties, company parking areas, depots).
• Charge electric vehicles
• Operate in TT, TNC, and TNCS networks
• Stationary installation. The charging system is suitable for
outdoor installation.
The Power Charge 7000i
• Must not be used in places where potentially explosive or
flammable substances (e.g., gases, liquids, or dust) are
stored or present.
• Must not be operated in IT networks.
• Must not charge vehicles with batteries that produce gas
(such as lead-acid batteries).
