Water hardness

Determine water hardness
In order to determine the water hardness in
your place of residence, you can
– look on the website of your water provider.
– telephone your water supplier.
– purchase suitable test strips at the phar-
macy.

1. Obtain the appropriate setting from the
table above.
2. Close the dishwasher door.

3. If the dishwasher is switched on, switch it
off with the button (18).

Adjusting the water hardness

Do not allow more than 1 minute to elapse
between the following steps, otherwise the
setting process will be interrupted.
1. Switch on the dishwasher using the
button (18).

2. Press and hold the P button (13) for as
long as required until the current water
hardness is shown on the display:

3. Press the P button for 5 seconds within 60
seconds of switching on.
4. Press the P button as often as required
until the desired setting is displayed.
5. Around 5 seconds after you push it for
the last time, the dishwasher will auto-
matically revert to the normal display.
The hardness level setting is saved.
