OPERATION

The LPG cylinder(s) must be upright when gas is being withdrawn.
Withdraw only from the gaseous phase.
The cylinder(s) must be prevented from toppling over.
Protect cylinder(s) against radiant heat or heat from heating appliances.
Observe the relevant installation regulations in the respective countries.
The Caramatic DriveTwo can also be operated with only one gas cylinder.
The non-return gas valve prevents gas from escaping from the free connection.
When operating with only one gas cylinder, the free connection must be connected to the
Caramatic DriveTwo can be closed by means of the sealing nut
withdrawal direction on the rotary knob in the direction GREEN of the connected cylinder.
The gaskets at the inlet connections (if provided) must be replaced when re-assembling!
Make sure that the gaskets sit properly in the mounting and that the screws are tightened.
Cylinder replacement during operation
1. Set the changeover device so that GREEN is pointing to the cylinder(s) on the spare side.
2. Close the cylinder valve of the empty gas cylinder
2. Loosen the connections to the gas cylinder
4. Replace the empty cylinder with a full one and connect the full one.
The gas non-return valve prevents the gas flow from escaping through the free
connection during cylinder replacement.
5. Open the cylinder valve.
6. Check for leaks.
7. The full cylinder is available as a spare.

1. Start the system by slowly opening
the gas supply while the shut-off
fitting of the connected consumption
equipment remains closed. Observe
the assembly and operating manual
of the connected consumption
equipment!
2. By pushing in the blue excess flow
device SBS push button, hold this
down for 5 seconds (e.g. Caramatic
ConnectDrive – not included).
Activate the crash-sensor-pendulum the
first time you start the system:
3. By pushing the green crash-sensor-
pendulum push button.
Apply the adhesive accompanying
the product to a visible area of the
safety gas pressure regulation device.
