vinkelmåleren (13). Den største savvinkel er 45º.

4. BETJENINGEN
Fastlåsning af afbryderen

Tryk afbryderen ind for at starte stiksaven. Afbryderen kan låses fast med låseknappen.
Det gøres som følger:
A. Tryk afbryderen ind.
B. Hold afbryderen trykket ind mens De trykker låseknappen ind. Stiksaven vil nu køre
kontinuerligt.
Udløs låsemekanismen ved at trykke på afbryderen igen.
Hastighedskontrol

Savens hastighed kan indstilles med drejeknappen øverst på stiksaven. Jo højere
indstilling, jo højere er hastigheden. Den højeste indstilling er 6. Den ideelle savhastighed
afhænger af profilen og tænderne på saven samt det materiale De vil save i. Til bløde
materialer, vælg en rimelig høj hastighed og en grovtandet sav. Hvis De vil save hårde
materialer vælg en lavere hastighed og en fintandet sav.
Indstilling af pendul

For at opnå det bedste savresultat, skal De indstille den måde savens tænder griber

materialet på. Dette gør De ved at indstille pendulet (8).
• Bløde materialer (træ, plastik o.s.v.): sæt pendulet på niveau II eller III. For et skarpt
savsnit, sæt pendulet på niveau 0 eller I.
• Mellemhårde materialer (løvtræ, aluminium o.s.v.): indstil pendulet afhængigt af
forholdene. Til tynde materialer brug niveau 0, eller I hvis De arbejder med knive eller
raspe.
• Hårde materialer (stål o.s.v.): sæt pendulet på niveau 0.
• Kurver: sæt pendulet på niveau 0.
De kan indstille pendulets niveau mens maskinen arbejder.

For at holde overfladen fri for støv, er stiksaven udstyret med en tilslutning til en
støvfjerner. De kan sætte Deres støvsuger til på denne tilslutning. Brug den adapter til
støvsugeren der er leveret med til dette.

If the starting position of the workpiece to be sawn is not the side, or if no hole has been
drilled, you must cut in. To do this, proceed as follows:
• Put the jigsaw on the rounded front of the bottom plate .
• Switch on the appliance and slowly lower the jigsaw until it touches the workpiece.
• Let the jigsaw cut into the workpiece gently without forcing it.
• When you are through the workpiece, take the jigsaw out of the hole.
• Place the appliance in the normal position in the sawn hole and continue the saw cut.
You can also cut in by first drilling a hole in the workpiece. To do this, use a bit that makes
a hole big enough for the saw blade. Now you can carry out the steps described under
'Sawing'.
5. MAINTENANCE
During maintenance and cleaning always remove the mains plug from the
socket. Never use liquids when cleaning electrical parts of the jigsaw.
Maintain the jigsaw regularly to prevent unnecessary problems. This will ensure that your
appliance remains in optimum condition.
• Keep the bottom plate clean so that no inaccuracies occur during sawing.
• Keep the outside of the jigsaw clean so that all moving parts can move accurately
and without wear.
• Keep the ventilation slots of the motor clean so that these do not overheat.
• If the carbon brushes are worn the jigsaw will run noisily and unevenly. In the end the
jigsaw will no longer work. Have the carbon brushes replaced by an authorized
service centre.
• Lubricate the saw blade guide regularly.
