therapy: The lateral valves must
open visibly when exhaling.
Inhaling with the mouthpiece
• Take the protective cap off the
mouthpiece of the VORTEX.
• Hold the mouthpiece between
your teeth and enclose it with
your lips.
• Begin breathing in slowly and
deeply through the mouth.
While breathing in, press the
metered dose inhaler to re-
lease a puff of spray.
• Hold your breath briefly.
• Then breathe out slowly into the mouthpiece.
Inhaling with the baby and child mask
CAUTION
Impaired treatment due to escaping aerosol
If the mask does not form a seal on the face, aerosol may
escape. This may result in medication underdosage.
• Make sure that the mask completely covers both corners
of the mouth and the nose.
• Take note of possible side effects caused by escaping
aerosol. These are described in the information for use of
the respective medication.
• Place the VORTEX with mask on the face
• Observe your child's respiratory flow.
