Fitting and installation
Pre-cleaning the oven
The oven must be pre-cleaned to remove all
grease and oil residues from the manufactur-
ing process, as well as tough dust deposits
leftover from storage and transportation. This
not only helps protect your health but also en-
sures delicious cakes and roasts.
1. In order to do so, operate the oven for ap-
proximately 1 hour at a top/bottom heat of
250 °C. Leave the oven rack (9), baking
tray (10) and dripping pan (11) in the oven
during this process.
2. Let all parts dry completely afterwards.
3. Wash the oven rack, baking tray, dripping
pan and cooking compartment with clean
water. Then dry everything off.

To dismantle the cooker
WARNING
Electric shock / fire hazard!
Improper handling of the appliance
may result in electric shock and/or a
short circuit.
■ Before removing the appliance,
switch off or screw out the fuses for
the cooker's electrical circuit.
1. Remove both of the fastening screws be-
hind the appliance door.
2. Lift the appliance up slightly and pull it out
until the plugs of the hob are accessible.
Do not pull on the handle of the appliance
door!
3. Pull the hob cable plugs out of the sockets
on the oven.
4. Lift the appliance out of the built-in cabi-
net – take care not to damage the mains
cable.
5. Remove the 4 retaining clips from the hob.
6. Push the hob upwards and outwards with
care.
7. Have the appliance disconnected by a
qualified electrifician.
