Switching the e-bike system off

If no power output from the e-bike drive unit is requested (e. g. because the e-bike is parked) and no button on the control
unit is pressed for approx. 10 minutes, the e-bike system and the battery pack will automatically switch off to save energy.

Charging the battery

DANGER
Improper charging of the battery can lead to serious injuries!
Improper charging may cause the battery or other inflammable materials nearby to catch fire.
• Also observe the safety instructions in chapter "2.2 Safe use of the battery pack".
• Only use the original charger.
• The charger or battery must not be kept near inflammable materials while charging.
• Only charge the battery when dry.
• Do not leave the battery unattended while charging it.
The battery pack can be charged at any time when removed or installed without shortening its service life. Interrupting the
charging process does not damage the battery pack.
