k) Manual time/date setting
If reception problems occur, before making the setting by hand,
switch off the DCF reception first and then simultaneously press
the "MODE" and " " buttons until the DCF icon disappears).
To manually set the time/date, proceed as follows:
• Press and hold the "MODE" button for three seconds. The hour setting on
the bottom display line starts flashing.
• Change the hour format by pressing the " " or " " buttons; you can select
either the common 24-hour format or the 12-hour format.
If you do not want to change a setting, briefly press the "MODE"
button to skip to another one.
If you do not press any button for a minute, the last setting will be
stored and the setting mode will automatically be exited.
• Confirm the entry by briefly pressing the "MODE" button.
• The language indicator is flashing. Pressing the " " or " " buttons will set
the desired weekday display language.
• The following languages are available:
E = English, G = German, F = French, S = Spanish, I = Italian
• Confirm the entry by briefly pressing the "MODE" button.
• The hour indicator is flashing. Press the " " or " " buttons to set the
desired hour.
A quick setting can be done by holding down the " " or " "
buttons for an extended period of time.
• Confirm the entry by briefly pressing the "MODE" button.
• The minute indicator is flashing. Pressing the " " or " " buttons will set the
desired minute.
• Confirm the entry by briefly pressing the "MODE" button.
• The year indicator is flashing. Pressing the " " or " " buttons will set the
desired year.
