17. At this step, the SNCT is performing verification to know if:
a. The module is locked
b. The module has no password protection
18. If the module is locked, click on Unlock Device button
19. If the module is protected by a password, enter it and select OK. If the password is unknown, go to the
section
Reset Password
20. The Safety Reset service is successful.
21. Power OFF the module
22. Go Offline and Exit SNCT
Note!
After a Safety Reset, the safety module is configured as follow:
•
State: Waiting for TUNID
•
Lock State: False
•
IP Address: DHCP or Static (according the rotary switches position)
Note!
The safety reset service can also be performed using Rockwell Logix5000 / Studio5000
software.
Got to the module safety properties dialog box and select the Safety tab.
