Troubleshooting

Risk of death due to electric shock!
Non-insulated parts may be touched when
the housing is removed in order to conduct
service work inside the machine. This work
may only be carried out by service personnel.
► Switch off the machine.
► Disconnect the mains plug.
If a malfunction cannot be eliminated with the
measures described in this chapter, contact Wei-
dmüller Service.

8.1 Fault table

Fault Possible cause
Machine cannot be The power supply is interrupted.

Blade cuts into wire-end ferrule
Increased waste The waste tray is full.
A stripping blade is damaged or
installed incorrectly.
An error message is shown on the display in case of faults.
► Correct the fault, see chapter 8.2.
Once the fault has been corrected, the machine is shown
as ready for operation.

Recommended action
► Check the mains cable and the mains connection.
► Check the fuses.
► Switch off the machine.
► Remove the wire-end ferrule strip.
► Switch the machine back on and open the Service/
Jog mode menu.
► Move forwards or backwards.
► Check for further damage.
► Empty the waste tray, see see chapter 7.3.
► Check the fit of the stripping blade.
► Correct the position of the blade or exchange it,
see see chapter 8.4.
