TROUBLESHOOTING

Problem
The light turns on but
the engine does not run.
The light is off and the
engine does not run.
Oil leaks.
The light doesn't work.
The air is not extracted
properly.
The extractor hood
hangs crooked.
Note: All electrical repairs to the appliance must comply with local, state and
federal laws. Please contact customer service with any questions. Always
disconnect the mains plug from the socket before carrying out repairs or
maintenance on the appliance.
Potential cause
The fan is switched off
The fan step button is
defective.
The motor is broken.
Your house fuse has
popped out.
The plug is not in the
socket or is only loosely
in the socket.
The backflow flap
and the outlet are not
properly sealed.
Leakage at the
connection point of
chimney and cover
The lamps are broken or
damaged.
The distance between
the hood and the stove
is too far.
The fastening screw is
not tightened enough.
Solution
Set a fan speed.

Replace/reactivate the
fuse.
Plug the power plug
securely into the wall
socket.
Seal the backflow flap.
Seal the chimney.
Replace the lamps.
Reduce the distance.
Align the cooker hood
horizontally and tighten
the fixing screw.
