Safety Instructions

General Information

Sartorius Stedim Biotech supplies the BioPAT
ready-for-operation condition.
This manual contains instructions for the safe operation of the BioPAT
You may only operate the device under conditions that comply with the
specifications stated in this manual and the information on the manufacturer's
ID label.

Intended Usage

The BioPAT Xgas is a gas sensor for measuring carbon dioxide and oxygen

contents in the defined concentration range and under the conditions
described in the → Technical Data. It is used to monitor metabolic activities
during biological processes such as fermentations.
