The grinding process can be stopped at any time by pressing the STOP
button on the Control Panel or by pressing the EMERGENCY STOP.
AbraPlan-10 is fitted with a diamond tool for dressing the
grinding stone. It is important to dress the grinding stone at
regular intervals to keep the stone plane and sharp.
The dressing arm with the diamond tool should never be used on a diamond
grinding stone since this would destroy the disc or the diamond tool.
When a new grinding stone is fitted, the AbraPlan-10 software
asks by default if you want to raise the dressing arm to the top of
its movement.
The dressing arm moves down automatically each time the
handle on the dressing arm is lifted. The distance of this
incremental arm movement is defined by the "Dress. arm
movement:" value in the CONFIGURATION menu.
The position of the dressing arm can be checked and changed
through the software display on the Control Panel via the
DRESSING menu.
When the sliding cover on the stone guard is covering the
grinding stone (i.e. moved all the way over to the left) and the
dressing arm handle is lifted, the software automatically displays
the DRESSING menu.

The DRESSING menu shows the current height or "Position" of
the dressing arm. This position can be changed using F3 to raise
the dressing arm and F4 to lower it.
Each time F3 or F4 is pressed, the dressing arm will move in the
direction specified by the incremental distance defined in the
CONFIGURATION menu.
