and may reduce over an extended period.
a. DO NOT fly when the amount of rainfall exceeds 100 mm in 24 hours.
b. DO NOT fold the frame arms in the rain. Make sure the aircraft is free of
any liquid by wiping it carefully before storing in the carrying case.
c. Make sure the battery ports, battery compartment ports, battery
surfaces, and battery compartment surfaces are dry before inserting the
batteries.
d. Make sure the ports and surfaces of the battery are free from any liquid
before charging.
e. The product warranty does not cover water damage.
2. The aircraft does not achieve IP55 protection rating in the following
circumstances:
a. Frame arms are folded.
b. Batteries other than the M30/M30T TB30 Intelligent Flight Batteries are
used.
c. The cover for the ports are not attached correctly.
d. The waterproofing top shell plug is not firmly attached to the top shell.
e. The aircraft is broken in situations such as where the aircraft shell is
cracked or the waterproof adhesive is not secure.
3. The aircraft body uses flame retardant materials to improve safety
performance, which may lead the color of the appearance to be changed.
Such change does not affect the performance and the IP rating of the
aircraft.
Genuine and Functional Parts
Observe the following rules to avoid collision, serious injury, and property
damage:
1. Ensure there are no foreign objects such as water, oil, soil, or sand inside
of the aircraft or its components. Ports such as PSDK port must be closed
firmly if not used to ensure the IP55 works effectively.
2. DO NOT modify or alter the aircraft, its components, or parts. Unauthorized
modification may cause malfunctions and affect the functionality and safety
of the aircraft.
3. Make sure that when installing any external devices that the total weight
of the aircraft does not exceed the maximum takeoff weight (4000 g). In
addition, the external device must be installed in a location so that the
center of gravity is maintained within the range of the aircraft top shell to
keep the aircraft stable and that the vision systems, the infrared sensing
systems, and the auxiliary lights are not blocked.
4. Make sure that there is no obstruction on the air intake and the air vent.
5. DO NOT use accessories that are specifically for the M30/M30T with other
products. Users take full responsibility for any damage caused by the use
of accessories with other products.
6. If using a third-party device or payload on the M30/M30T, read the manual
and safety documents of the third-party device or payload carefully. Even
if the third-party equipment can be used with DJI equipment, DJI does not
guarantee the third-party equipment can function properly or safely. DJI
is not responsible for any property or personal damage caused by a third-
party device or payload.
Video Transmission
1. Only enable Custom mode under the guidance of professionals. Otherwise,
the video transmission signal may lag or even be lost due to interference.
2. DO NOT modify the antennas without the assistance of DJI Support or a
DJI authorized dealer. To transmit and receive the video transmission signal
normally, lift and adjust the remote controller antennas to the proper position
and DO NOT obstruct the antennas on the bottom of the front frame arms and
the aircraft body.
3. DO NOT install any other wireless device to avoid interference.
Propulsion
Observe the following rules to avoid serious injury to yourself or others caused
by the rotating propellers or motors:
Propellers
1. Make sure all propellers are in good condition before each flight. DO NOT
use aged, chipped, loosen, or broken propellers.
2. Wipe the propellers dry before each flight where the surrounding
temperature is approximately 0° C (32° F) or below to prevent the propellers
from freezing. Make sure the propellers do not have any ice on them
before and after each flight. Remove any ice that is discovered and fly with
caution. Return to home and land the aircraft as soon as possible if a motor
overload warning prompt appears in DJI Pilot2.
3. Power off the aircraft before examining or replacing any propellers.
4. Be aware of the sharp edges of the propellers when examining, mounting,
or removing the propellers. Wear gloves or take other protective measures
when touching the propellers.
5. To avoid serious injury, DO NOT touch or let your hands or body come into
contact with the rotating propellers or motors such as by attempting to
catch a landing aircraft by hand.
6. For a better and safer flight experience, it is recommended to only use
original DJI propellers.
Motors
1. Make sure the frame arms are unfolded and the frame arm folding buttons
are popped out in the locked position.
2. Make sure the motors are securely mounted and rotating smoothly.
3. Before each flight, manually rotate the propeller to examine the motor
and make sure the motor functions normally without scratches and can
rotate smoothly without abnormal sound. Otherwise, stop using the aircraft
immediately and contact DJI Support.
4. Clean the motor ventilation holes to make sure they are not blocked before
each flight.
5. DO NOT attempt to modify the structure of the motors.
6. DO NOT touch or let hands or body parts come in contact with the motors
after flight as they may be hot.
ESCs (Electronic Speed Controllers)
1. Make sure the ESCs sound normal when powered on.
2. If required before a flight, follow the prompts in the app to fix any
abnormalities with the ESCs.
3. Return to home and land the aircraft if an ESC warning prompt appears in
DJI Pilot2 concerning temperature, voltage, or overloading. Pay attention to
the flight status display in DJI Pilot2 to ensure flight safety when returning
to home.
Camera
Observe the following rules to avoid collision, serious injury, and property
damage:
1. DO NOT block any ventilation holes on the camera as the heat generated
may damage the device and injure the user.
2. DO NOT expose the infrared camera lenses to a strong energy source such
as the sun, lava, or laser beam. The temperature of the observed target
should not exceed 800° C (1,472° F). Otherwise, it will burn the camera and
cause permanent damage.
3. DO NOT store the product near a heat source such as a heater.
4. DO NOT frequently power the product on and off. After it is powered off,
