3.4 Change of the hinge position

WARNING! Switch off and unplug the appliance before changing the
hinge position. RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK!
CAUTION! The change of the position must be carried out by at least
two persons; otherwise you may hurt yourself or damage the appliance.
NOTICE! You should contact a qualified technician if you want to have the
door swing reversed. Only try to carry out the steps described below when
you believe that you are qualified to do so.
NOTICE! Adjust the doors properly before you finally tighten the screws of
the hinges. The seals must close properly.
NOTICE! Do not tilt the appliance more than 45
➢ Empty the appliance.
➢ If possible, remove all door trays, glass shelves and drawers from the fridge so
that they cannot be damaged.
➢ It is necessary to tilt the appliance backwards while removing the doors. Lean the
appliance against a solid and immovable surface so it will not slip while changing
the hinge positions.
➢ Do not lay the unit flat as this can damage the cooling system.
➢ All parts removed must be saved for proper reinstallation of the doors.
➢ Always remove the door(s) carefully. Keep the door(s) in a safe place so that
they cannot be damaged.
1. Disconnect the appliance from the power supply (unplug).
2. Remove the hinge cover(1) and unscrew upper hinge screw (2). Remove upper
hinge (3).
3. Lie the unit down on the floor for support.
