5.2 MOUNTING THE BICYCLE RACK ON THE TRAILER TOW BAR
Make sure that the trailer tow bar is undamaged, clean and grease-free.
The bicycle rack is placed horizontally on the tow bar from above.
Tighten the M16 screw slightly and align the bicycle rack parallel to the rear
of the vehicle. Now tighten the M16 screw in such a way to ensure that the
rack is securely attached and can no longer be rotated.
Regularly check the fi rm seating of the rack on the trailer tow bar as well as
the functionality of the lighting systems.
Slight signs of pressure on the tow bar ball are
normal and do not in uence the functionality.
5.3 MOUNTING THE BICYCLES TO THE RACK
The fi rst bicycle is placed in the fi rst bicycle rail (closest to the vehicle) and
secured to the U-shaped bracket using the short frame holder. The wheels
are secured by pushing the stoppers up to the wheel and securing with the
straps.
CAUTION
The front wheel must also be secured with a small
tensioning strap to prevent it from turning.
The second bicycle is placed in the second rail, facing the opposite
direction and secured to the U-shaped bracket with the short frame holder.
The wheels are secured in the same way as for the fi rst bicycle. The third
bicycle is positioned in the third rail, counter to the second. With the frame
holders, wheel to wheel, connect the frame of the third bicycle to that of
the second. The wheels are again secured in the same way as for the fi rst
bicycle. It may be necessary to arrange the individual bicycles diff erently
on the rack to ensure that the frame holders may be correctly secured. Now
secure the bicycles with the long safety strap. Wrap the safety strap through
the bicycle frames and the U-shaped bracket and tighten. Disassemble in
reverse order.
10
The bicycle rack may not be used without this safety
strap.

5.3.1 TRANSPORT OF E BIKES
When transporting e-bikes, the payload of the
bicycle carrier and the maximum load capacity of each
individual bicycle rail must not be exceeded.
Mount e-bikes only on the bicycle rails 1 and 2, see picture.
Mount e-bikes only on the bicycle rails 1 and 2, see picture.
Maximum load capacity of the bicycle rails:
Maximum load capacity of the bicycle rails:
rail 1:
25.0 kg
rail 2:
15.0 kg
rail 3:
15.0 kg
Load the bike carrier so that the maximum payload is not exceeded. See
section 3. Specifi cations.
If you transport an e-bike on rails 1 or 2, the other bikes
must be correspondingly lighter so that the bike carrier is not
overloaded. Before loading, determine the weight of each
bicycle (e.g. using a personal scale).
6. MAINTENANCE AND CARE
• After use, store the bicycle rack in a clean and dry place. Wash any mud or
other dirt off using water.
• Keep the rack tow bar clean and free of grease.
• Check the bicycle rack regularly for damages. Damaged or worn parts must
be replaced immediately. Only original replacement parts may be used.
• Check the bolts and nuts of the bicycle rack regularly and tighten when
necessary.
• Immediately treat any damage to paintwork with paint.
• Regularly lubricate rotating and moving parts.
7. NOTES REGARDING ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION
Due to its lighting system, the bicycle carrier is an electrical
device.
Do not dispose of electrical appliances in household waste!
Discarded electrical and electronic equipment must be col-
lected separately and recycled in an environmentally sound
manner.
Contact your municipal or city government on how to dispose
of old electronic equipment.
The materials are recyclable. You are making an important
contribution to protecting our environment through recycling,
material recycling or other forms of re-utilising old appliances!
Dispose of the bicycle rack in accordance with the laws and
conditions in your country.
