Shatter guard
A shatter guard must always be attached when the angle grinder is used.
When using a bonded abrasive cutting disc, a special shatter guard (13) is required.
1. Undo the cam lever clamp on
the shatter guard.
2. The guard has three lugs that fit into
corresponding notches in the gear
housing. Align the guard as shown
in the figure and press the lugs into
the notches in the gear housing.
3. Once the guard has been fitted onto
the angle grinder, you can rotate it to
the required position. Lock the guard
in place by tightening the cam lever
clamp.
4. Make sure that the guard is securely
in place.

Auxiliary handle

Screw the auxiliary handle into the hole most suited for the work you are about to perform.
Battery
Fit an LXC battery to the angle grinder and make sure that it is pushed all the way into
the battery holder.

On/off switch

Note: Carefully read all the safety instructions and warnings above before operating
the angle grinder.
1. Hold the safety switch in.
2. Press the on/off switch to turn the angle grinder on.
3. Release the on/off switch to turn the angle grinder off.
