Functional description
EcoPlus P (pressed chemical blocks) D (display) R (rinse pump) X (printer interface) is an
automatic metering device for pressed as well as liquid Ecolab detergent and rinse aid
products.
The EcoPlus PDRX comprises a housing, electronics with micro-controller, a solenoid
valve, a system separation function and a spray nozzle.
After the cover and funnel have been removed, all parts are freely accessible for
assembly, maintenance and repair.
As soon as the corresponding enable signal from the commercial dishwasher is applied,
the concentration of the cleaning solution is continuously measured by an inductive
conductivity measuring cell in the main tank of the dishwasher during the entire cleaning
process.
The concentration of cleaning agent is monitored by the control unit. As soon as the
concentration drops below the desired figure, further dispensing is enabled.
The cleaner block is sprayed from below with cold or hot water.
The solution is dispensed into the dishwasher and the concentration of cleaning agent is
measured in the tank.
When the nominal concentration is reached, dispensing ends.
On devices with an integrated rinse aid pump, this is activated either proportionally or in a
time-controlled manner.
