Protective devices

Protective devices safeguard hazardous areas on the device. They have no influence on the machine's move-
ments.
Separating protective devices
Separating protective devices prevent or hinder direct access to the rotating or moving parts of the device. They
may only be removed for set-up, maintenance or repair work and must be mounted again before restarting.
The device has the following safety covers:
– Anti-tamper protection in front of the air openings
– Heat-insulated housing
– Protective cover on the electrical components
15.3.3.1 Safety shutdowns and emergency stop buttons
In the event of overtemperature, the device switches off and the appropriate fault indicator light is lit up. The fan
does not continue to run with this automatic shutdown.
After a few minutes, the safety temperature limiter can be unlocked again. As long as there is no faint crackling
on the safety temperature limiter when it is pressed, the device is still too hot.
Pressing the emergency stop button will also cause the device to switch off immediately (heating elements and
fan switch off).
WARNING! Do not use the device again until all the malfunctions and defects have been rectified.
