How it functions
The device can generate process temperatures of up to 120°C. If the supply air temperature reaches 140°C, the
safety temperature limiter will switch off the device. The device operates outside the process area being heated.
By connecting high-temperature hoses or a ventilation duct to the device's supply and return lines, the air will be
heated to the desired process temperature during the recirculation procedure. The high-temperature hos-
es/ventilation ducts are laid or installed in the process space that needs to be heated.
The process air is extracted from the process space via the device's internal fan and then returned via the elec-
trical heating element.
The process temperature is controlled by a built-in PLC, which continuously monitors the supply and return
temperatures and controls all the actuators. Thyristor controllers are connected upstream of the heating element
and they throttle the power if necessary.
During the cooling phase of the process, a bypass flap installed in the device can be controlled to guide cooler
outside air into the process area. The hot process air is forced out at overpressure through a swing check valve.
A number of time-dependent temperature gradients can be programmed via a display. Up to 6 program phases
can be set. The device runs through the program phases one after the other and ceases operation after the last
process time has elapsed.

Intended use

The device serves to generate warm/hot air in enclosed spaces. The device generates air at very high tempera-
tures, suitable for the following processes:
– Pest control
– For curing plastics (tempering or annealing)
– Process heat for industrial requirements
– Drying heat-resistant materials
The device may only be used for its intended purpose.
