Information on electrical equipment
During all work on electrical equipment, the following principles apply:
– The device is operated electrically. There is a risk of fatal injury from faulty installation of the electrical sys-
tem or from a breakdown of the insulation during operation.
– Only electricians are allowed to access and work on electrical equipment. Always keep switch-boxes closed.
– The supply from the electrical mains is disconnected when the main switch is switched off.
– Changes to the controller may affect safe operation. Any planned changes must be approved in writing by
the manufacturer of the machine.
– After finishing any work, check that the protective devices still function.
– No unauthorized modifications may be made to the device. Any planned changes must be approved in writ-
ing by the manufacturer of the machine.
– If electrical components such as the motor or winding have become wet, they must be dried out completely
before use.
– Only insert the mains plug into sockets that are protected by an RC (residual current) circuit-breaker.
– Never interrupt the earthing.

Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC)

In accordance with its intended use, this electronic equipment complies with laws relating to electromagnetic
compatibility. These laws define the permissible emission levels of electronic equipment and their required im-
munity to electromagnetic fields.
Radio signals from high-frequency transmitters, such as mobile phones or similar mobile devices, which meet
the EMCregulations themselves may have an effect on proper function if they are operated in the immediate
vicinity and with a relatively high transmission power. That is why the operation of such wireless equipment in
the immediate vicinity of electronically controlled equipment should be avoided.

Notes on fire protection
The device generates air at a temperature of up to 130°C. To avoid the overheating of the device and the result-
ing emergency shutdown (when a supply temperature of 140°C is reached), please take the following precau-
tions:
– Keep the air inlet and protective grille free of obstructions and dirt. A reduced air flow can lead to overheat-
ing of the components or the device. Do not use near curtains or other objects that can block the air inlet
opening.
– Do not use near open fires or heat sources.
