Personal protective equipment
Personal protective equipment serves to protect staff against any hazards that could affect their safety or health
at work.
The following personal protective equipment must be worn during transport and installation:
– Protective gloves to prevent the hands becoming crushed or trapped and to protect them from heat
– Safety shoes to protect against impacts or falls

Residual hazards
The following residual hazards cannot be eliminated completely.
– Danger that unauthorized and unqualified persons may operate the machine.
– Danger of flammable substances reaching the heating element.
– Danger of accidentally touching hot surfaces (60°C).
Consequently, the company operating the device must ensure that only authorized and qualified persons have
access to the device and its control device.

Product description
The device is a lightweight, easily transportable air heater. The device is suitable for hose operation with high-
temperature hoses, each with a maximum length of 7.6 m (and a diameter of 300 mm) on the supply and return
lines.
The device is especially suitable for the generation of high temperatures. In normal operating mode, the return
temperature may reach up to 100°C and the supply flow reaches up to 120°C. When a temperature of 140°C is
reached in the supply hose, a safety temperature limiter (STL) will switch off the device (see Safety devices
[
58]).
The desired circulating air temperature can be adjusted within a range of 0°C to 100°C via the display.
The high temperature is generated through air recirculation mode.

Hose operation mode
A high-temperature hot air hose can be connected to the device. The length of hose
is limited to a maximum of 2 x 7.6 m. Please ensure that the hose is laid as straight
as possible. Too many bends or a hose that is pinched may also trigger the over-
temperature protection feature in the device.
