The scope of delivery includes:
– Heater
– Operating manual

Mode of operation

The device is a radiation heater equipped with three
infrared heating rods. The infrared heating rods pro-
vide uniform radiation heat.
The heating output of the device is controlled by
means of two device switches.
The infrared heating rods are protected by a protec-
tive grille to prevent direct contact with flammable
materials.

14.2.1

Intended use

The device is designed to produce radiation heat by
means of infrared heating rods. The radiation heat is
suitable for spot heating and for heating large, poorly
insulated indoor spaces.
Intended use also includes compliance with the op-
erating conditions (see Operating conditions
Any use other than the specified is deemed improp-
er. Improper use shall void all warranty cover.

14.2.2

Improper use

Any user other than for radiation heating is prohibit-
ed. Improper use can lead to danger.
– Improper use includes interference with safety-
relevant components of the device.
– Improper use includes further operation of the
device under inadmissible operating conditions
and insufficient maintenance .
14.2.3

Foreseeable improper use

The following types of misuse can be envisaged:
– Operation while ignoring prescribed safety clear-
ances
– Operation while ignoring applicable operating
conditions
14.3

Safety devices

If safety devices are not installed properly or config-
ured incorrectly, there is a risk of injury. Do not
modify, dismantle or disable safety devices. All safe-
ty devices must be freely accessible at all times.

Familiarize yourself with all the safety devices; this
way personal injury and/or damage to property can
be prevented or minimized.
The device is equipped with a tilt switch. The tilt
switch automatically switches off the device, if it has
toppled over. When the device is again brought into
an upright position, it is automatically switched on.

The device is operated solely with the two device
switches on the front of the heater.

The heater can be set to the following heat output
levels:
– Switch on 800 W switch: Heating at output level
1, 800 W.
– Switch on 1600 W switch: Heating at output level
2, 1600 W.
– Switch on both 800 W and 1600 W switches:
Heating at output level 3, 2400 W.
