The measurement system constantly monitors the concentrations of
harmful gases in the ambient air under atmospheric conditions.

Usage

6.1

Prerequisites for use

CAUTION
Risk of malfunction
The operation of the sensing head is tested prior to delivery but a
functional test must still be carried out after installation (see chapter
"Testing the sensitivity").
► The user has carried out the functional test.
6.2

Installing the sensor

1. Release the locking screw (4a), 2 mm hexagon socket screw.
2. Unscrew the bayonet ring (4). Remove the dummy disc.
3. Remove the sensor from its packaging.
4. Place the sensor (3) in the opening. The Dräger logo on the
sensor must align with the marking (5a) on the sensing head
housing.
5. Secure the sensor with the bayonet ring.
6. Tighten the locking screw.

Meaning
The sensor is not accepted by
the X-node (incorrect sensor).
7 Dräger X-node app
To configure the sensing head, install the Dräger X-node app on a
Bluetooth-enabled iOS or Android device.
The Dräger X-node app is used for data exchange with Dräger X-
node gas sensing heads via Bluetooth. For safety reasons, the
Bluetooth connection to the gas sensing head can only be made if the
sensing head is tilted to the side by 90°.
Select the sensing head from the menu. Return the sensing head to
its original position once the connection has been made. The
following functions are supported:
– Querying user authorization
– Displaying current sensing head data
– Displaying measured values
– Configuring the sensing head
– Calibrating the sensor
– Defining the alarm thresholds
– Applying firmware updates
– Transferring location coordinates
– Control panel
