Cleaning the product
Clean the product immediately after each
use. Dried-on grass is extremely hard and dif-
ficult to remove.
– Remove residual grass using a brush or
plastic scraper (do not use any sharp
implements).
– Remove deposits from the wheels.
– Wipe down the product with a slightly
damp cloth.
– Never clean the product with water or
high-pressure jet.
Changing the blades
DANGER! Risk of injury! Never
hold the blade by the cutting edge.
Wear protective gloves when working
with the blade.

Disassembly
– Loosen the blade screw (18) using a 14
mm hexagon spanner.
– Remove the washer (20).
– Carefully remove the blade (17).
Installation
NOTICE! Risk of product damage!
Ensure the correct installation posi-
tion: the journals (19) must line up
with the holes in the blade.
– Carefully put the blade (17) into place.
– Put the washer (20) into place.
– Tighten the blade screw (18) using a 14
mm hexagon spanner (35-40 Nm).
Replacing the air filter
NOTICE! Risk of product damage!
The product must never be operated
without the air filter, as this can cause
damage to the motor.
NOTICE! Risk of product damage!
Always use original air filters
approved by the manufacturer.

– Switch off the motor and remove the spark
plug connector.
– Open the air filter housing (12).

– Remove the air filter (21).
– Clean all parts of the air filter unit.
– Fit new air filter.
– Re-close the air filter housing (12).
Checking the motor oil level

– Unscrew and remove the motor oil filling
plug (8).
– Read-off the oil level on the dip stick on
the underside of the motor oil filling plug.
– The oil level must lie between [A] and [B].
Cleaning/replacing the spark plug
