In the three steps above, the each of the readings is the array value of the two grounding resist-
ances. Thus, we can easily calculate the value of each of the grounding resistances:
R1 = RA + RB,
R2 = RB + RC,
R3 = RC + RA
RA = (R1 + R3 - R2) / 2
This is the grounding resistance value of the grounding body RA. This formula can be easily
memorised by imagining that these three grounding bodies form a triangle; then the measured
resistance is equal to the sum of the resistance values of the adjacent edges minus the resist-
ance value of the opposite side and divided by 2.
The grounding resistance values of the two other grounding bodies are as follows:
RB = R1 - RA
RC = R3 - RA
