Introduction

Thank you for choosing CertoClav MultiControl 2 and for the trust you have place in us by purchasing this
autoclave.
The MultiControl 2 autoclave is equipped with microprocessor-controlled technology and a high precision
temperature sensor, and it speeds up work in the laboratory. With a free choice of time and temperature,
the MultiControl 2 offers a versatile range of applications in sterilization, quality control and material
testing.
The basic version of the PC Software allows visualization and storage of your process data. It is available
as a free download at www.certoclav.com . The Professional version of the software (Art. 8200210)
additionally enables you to create multi-level programs with varying time and temperature settings.
For documentation purposes, the data can be printed on your CertoClav protocol printer (Art. 1300187)
via the printer interface.
The device was manufactured according to modern manufacturing methods and 100% tested by our
quality control department. We grant a 2-year warranty, except for parts which are subject to wear and
tear, e.g. seals, from the date of purchase. If you are running long term cycles, the wear of seals is
considerably higher, and replacement may be necessary after only 6 months. Deposits and discoloration
are a result of usage. No guarantee is given in the event of improper use, e.g. if the load contains
corrosive material.
The CertoClav MultiControl 2 is a technical device and requires a certain amount of specific knowledge to
operate and achieve reliable results. Please read the instruction manual carefully to learn about the usage
and all options for operation.
