5.1 Modules connected in series and in
parallel
1. For modules connected in series, mounted above
each other, it is recommended to connect the
pipes as shown in fig. 3.
2. For modules connected in parallel, mounted
above each other, it is recommended to connect
the pipes as shown in fig. 4. This layout ensures
that the modules are filled with water before start-

3. When modules are connected in series and par-
allel, mounted above each other, it is recom-
mended to connect the pipes as shown in fig. 5.
4. For modules connected in series and fitted with a

All modules are supplied without non-return valve.
Booster modules connected in parallel may also be
installed vertically.
Note: As venting problems may arise in such instal-
lations, it is advisable to install suitable air vent
devices.

6. Electrical connection

The electrical connection should be carried out by an
authorized electrician in accordance with local regu-
lations.
Before starting work on the booster mod-
ule, make sure that the electricity supply
4
has been switched off and that it cannot be
accidentally switched on.
3
The booster module must be earthed.
The booster module must be connected to
2
an external mains switch.
1
The supply voltage, rated maximum current and
power factor (PF) appear from the booster module
nameplate.
