Problem
Suction force is
weak.
Dust is
escaping from
the appliance.
In rare cases this can make a whistling noise initially. This is not a
malfunction and stops after a while.
Possible cause
Dust bag is
not positioned
correctly.
Dust bag is full.
Brush / nozzle
is not positioned
correctly.
Object is plugging
the nozzle.
Filters are inserted
incorrectly or are
contaminated.
Air by-pass vent is
open.
Dust bin is full.
Dust bin is
not positioned
correctly.
Filters are inserted
incorrectly or are

Solutions, tips
Insert the dust bag correctly.
Change the dust bag.
Position the brush / nozzle
correctly.
Press the On-Off foot switch/
suction force control unit,
disconnect the mains plug
from the socket, check the
telescopic tube and suction
hose for blockage. Remove
object.
Insert filters correctly and/or
clean.
Close the air by-pass vent.
Change the dust bin.
Insert the dust bin correctly.
Insert filters correctly and/or
clean.
