Immersion in water will cause damage to the
device.
f Do not immerse the device in water.
Opening the device Opening the device
The device is a closed system. Any tampering
with the device, in addition to the loss of the
limited warranty and statutory warranties, al-
so means that the device must not be used
as intended.
f Do not open the device.
As an exception, you may remove the decora-
tion cover (cover of the smoke alarm device) to
identify the device or for decorating.
Sensitive components Sensitive components
The device consists of sensitive components
(e.g. sensors).
f Do not throw the device.
f Do not drop the device.
f Do not apply pressure to the device.
Decorating Decorating
If the smoke intake lamellas are covered,
the smoke detection and heat warning
functions can be impaired or prevented.
No reliable alarm can be triggered.
f Only decorate the decoration cover
