REMOVING THE REAR GRAB

Lift the seat as specified on p. 23 (UN-
LOCKING / LOCKING THE SEAT).

Undo and remove the five screws (1).
◆
Remove the rear grab handle (2) from
the rear engine case.

WARNING
Chromium-plated parts should be han-
dled with care. Do not damage or rub.

Remove the rear grab handle: see RE-
MOVING THE REAR GRAB HANDLE.

Undo and remove the two retaining
screws (3) on the rear case top (5).

Undo and remove the two front retain-
ing screws (4) on the case (5).

NOTE
Disconnect the tail light harness
connector before removing the rear case
(5) completely.
