REMOVING THE FRONT COVER

Carefully read p. 43 (MAINTENANCE).

Position the vehicle on the centre stand.

Unscrew and remove the screw (1).
◆
Unscrew and remove the screw (2).
!
CAUTION
Proceed with care.
Do not damage the tangs and/or their
seats.
Handle the plastic and painted compo-
nents with care and avoid scraping or
damaging them.

Release the couplings (3) and (4) from
their seats and remove the two collars
(5) and (6).
◆
Unscrew and remove the two lower
screws (7).
◆
Remove the grille (8).

Unscrew and remove the upper screw
(9), taking the washer.
NOTE
To release the front cover (10)
from the side couplings, carry out the fol-
lowing operations simultaneously:
◆
Press ≈A∆ and pull ≈B∆.
◆
Press ≈A∆ and pull ≈C∆.
