Connecting the suction pipe and pressure pipe

When connecting the suction and pressure pipes, ensure that the O-rings are fixed to the
CAUTION
connectors so as to achieve the required seal.
NOTE
The use of an appropriate suction pipe from our product range is recommended.

If the metering line is laid in an inflexible manner, a pulsation attenuator has to be installed

 Cut off hose cleanly.
 Place O-ring into groove of suction/pressure valve.
 Tighten up hose nipple with union nut.
 Push hose clamp over hose. (2 pieces recommended)
Push hose over hose nipple and tighten up hose clamps. (Arrangement

of hose clamps according to Fig. 6.10.)

 Cut off tube cleanly and remove burrs.
 Push union nut over tube.
 Weld tube and insertion part together.
 Place O-ring into groove of suction/pressure valve.
Push union nut over insertion part and tighten it up.


 Cut off hose cleanly.
 Push union nut and clamping piece over hose.
 Push hose onto connection nipple as far as tapered part
 Move clamping piece into direction of tapered part until you feel
resistance.
 Place O-ring into groove of suction/pressure valve.
Tighten up union nut.

