Installation of a metering monitoring system:
A metering monitoring system, oval gear meter or flow indicator, has
to be installed in the metering pipeline between the pressure relieve
valve and the pressure control resp. metering valve.

Connecting the suction pipe and pressure pipe
@ Separate double-hose according to diagram, cut it straightly and remove connecting bridge.
@ Push the union nut (pos. 1) and clamping piece (pos. 2) over the suction hose piece
@ Attach the connection piece (pos. 3) until stop motion.
@ Put the O-ring (pos. 4) in valve groove and screw down the union nut by hand.
@ Pull the return hose piece through fixing hole (pos. 5) and attach it as suction hose piece.
@ Set suction lance into the container.

@ Cut off the metering hose or pipe straightly.

@ Push over the union nut (pos. 2) and crimping ring (pos. 3).
@ Attach the hose or the pipe onto the connection piece (pos. 4)
until the stop motion and screw it up by hand.
@ Adjust angled position by loosening and screwing down the nut
again (pos. 1).
CAUTION
After 24 hours of operation, the metering head screws should be screwed down
diagonally to 3 - 4 Nm.
When connecting the suction and pressure pipes,
ensure that the O-rings (pos. 4) are fixed to the
connectors so as to achieve the required seal.
When using other hose lines adjust the curved radius
correspondingly. The return hose must not be bent.
During the installation make sure that no the return line
is not on tension.
The use of an appropriate suction pipe from our
product range is recommended.
Observe max. permissible operation pressure of
metering hose/pipe!
The metering pump head may contain residual
water from the production tests.
