FIREPLACE INSERTS / SLIDING DOOR
•
The flue is constructed of refractory, mineral materials. During installation, care must be taken to ensure that the flue
is gas-tight. The ceramic flue support must be load-bearing and heat-resistant. The floor must be thermally insulated
as described in the section "Protecting the installation floor".
•
The heating-gas pipe must be connected to the ceramic flue using plug-in steel pipes to ensure it is gas-tight. Prefer-
ably, these pipes should be connected to the ceramic flue using a prefabricated connection piece made of fireclay.
Caution: The steel pipe/fireclay transition must be separate (expansion) and tight. The connecting pipes do not have
to be thermally insulated.
CAUTION: Please point out to the operator of the fireplace that the system with a downstream secondary heating surface
may only be operated when the door is closed!

Connecting to metallic secondary heating surfaces
•
The information previously provided with regard to installation and assembly instructions remains valid.
•
The metallic secondary heating surface can be placed on the left or right side, or behind the fireplace insert. Details
can be seen in the dimensional drawing below.
•
The secondary heating surface support must be load-bearing and heat-resistant. The installation floor must be
thermally insulated as described in the section "Protecting the installation floor".
•
Access must be guaranteed to the cleaning apertures on the secondary heating surface.
•
General conditions: Connecting pieces from the fireplace insert and to the chimney must not be longer than 1 m in
total.
