Flooring in front of the fireplace insert

The flooring in front of the fireplace insert must be made of non-combustible material. Minimum dimensions of this
non-combustible surface must be a minimum of 50 cm to the front and a minimum of 30 cm to the sides.
6.12

Fire protection in the radiation area

The minimum distance (as specified in Technical Data) to components made of combustible building materials or to
combustible components and to built-in furniture must be maintained from the front, the top and the sides of the firebox.
If radiation protection is fitted, which is ventilated on both sides, half this distance is sufficient.
Examples of the radiation area:

- the ornamental beam is not part of the building;
- the spaces between the beam and the cladding are sufficient to prevent heat
from accumulating;
- the ornamental beam is not within the radiation area of the open fireplace.
Direct anchoring with thermal bridges is not permitted.

• The cross section of the air inlet duct
