12.5 Resetting to factory settings

1. Press <RUN/ENTER> and <CAL> simultaneously.
2. Press <RUN/ENTER> again.
All the settings are reset to the factory settings and the instrument switches to the
measuring mode.
The following factory settings exist:
Parameter

Relative slope
Salinity correction

Note!
Always perform a reset after replacing the batteries.

Prior to commencing maintenance work:
Disconnect the sensor connector from the instrument.

13.1 Cleaning the measuring instrument

Clean the front of the housing with usual commercial cleaning agents.
The front is resistant to the following in accordance with DIN 42 115:
• Alcohol (short-term)
• Diluted acids (max. 2% HCl)
• Diluted alkalis (max. 3% NaOH)
• Soap-based household cleaner

Caution!
Never use the following for cleaning purposes:
• Concentrated mineral acids or alkalis
• Benzyl alcohol
• Methylene chloride
• High-pressure steam
