CONEL STREAM SERIES USAGE LIMITS

1.4.1

Functioning

The Conel Stream is a compact, ready-to-connect drinking water separation station for water supply
with service water and meets the requirements of drinking water after supply from the in-house drin-
king water network according to [EN DIN 1717] for the protection of the drinking water installation
against re-germination, reflux and mix by germinated water with a safety device of type AB of liquid
category 5.
This makes the Conel Stream ideal for water supply with operating water for toilet flushes, washing
machines, above/underground water, ponds, fountains or process water.
The Conel Stream is supplied with drinking water from the in-house drinking water network. As soon as
drinking water is required, this is fed via a mechanically proportionally controlled float valve in the feed-
in tank of the Conel Stream with a free outlet according to [DIN EN 13077] type AB (no automatic
water exchange in the feed tank).
Is service water(e.g., Toilet flush) requested by the user, the pump switching machine switches off the
centrifugal pump depending on the pressure and flow and thus ensures the supply of water.
A shock absorber integrated in the pump switching machine reduces line pressure peaks and thus
helps to avoid possible damage to the system. The pump switcher also has a „dry run monitoring" of the
connected centrifugal pump and switches it off- if necessary - protection against possible chess damage
of the gyroscope.
The compact design, the simple and comfortable wall fastening and the integrated connection set as
well as the detachable screws on drinking water/, suction/ and pressure connection allows simple
and quick installation of the Conel Stream.
1.4.2

Appropriate use

The Conel Stream is a compact, ready-to-connect drinking water separation station for water supply
with service water and demand fair drinking water after feeding from the in-house drinking water net-
work according to [EN DIN 1717] for the protection of the drinking water installation against re-germi-
nation, reflux and mix by germinated water with a safety device of type AB of liquid category 5.
This makes the Conel Stream ideal for water supply with operating water for toilet flushing, washing
machines, above/underground irrigation, ponds, fountains or process water.
• The line pressure for the drinking water connection of the Conel Stream must not exceed 4 bar.
• The Conel Stream is intended for operation with drinking water, with a maximum temperature of
400C.
