IMPORTANT BASIC INFORMATION

1.1

DELIVERY

The scope of delivery of the drinking water separation station Conel Stream series (hereinafter referred
to as Conel Stream ) includes:
• a compact, ready-to-connect drinking water separation station for the control of the water supply
with service water and the need for drinking water resupply according to [EN DIN 1717] to protect
the drinking water installation against „re-germination, re-flowing and mixing by germinated water
with a safety device of type AB of the liquid category 5 (*);
- a feed-in container made of MDPE plastic (18 liters nominal volume - 5 liters usable volume) with
free outlet type AB in accordance with[DIN EN 13077];
- Proportionally controlled drinking water feed valve DN17 according to KTW/DVGW-W270
certification;
- a multi-stage self-priming centrifugal pump;
- an electronic pump switching machine with integrated pressure manometer, check valve and
water shock absorber;
a wall fastening including fastening material;
• Original operating instructions.

Liquid categories:
Within DIN EN 1717, liquids that are or may come into contact with drinking water are divided into
five liquid categories. These are defined as follows:
01 Water for human use taken directly from a drinking water installation.
02 liquid that does not pose a risk to human health. Liquids suitable for human use, including water
from a drinking water installation, which may have a change in taste, smell, color or temperature
(heating or cooling).
03 Liquid which poses a health hazard due to the presence of one or more toxic or particularly toxic
substances.
04 Liquid which poses a risk to human health from the presence of one or more toxic or particularly
toxic substances or one or more radioactive, mutagenic or carcinogenic substances.
05 Liquid which poses a health risk to humans due to the presence of microbial or viral pathogens of
communicable diseases.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1.2.1

Responsibility of the manufacturer

HAFTPFLICHT: The manufacturer is not liable for the defective function of the Conel Stream or for
any damage caused by him, if these were manipulated, modified or operated beyond the recommended
application or contrary to the instructions contained in the original operating instructions. In addition,
no liability is assumed for any transmission or printing errors contained in this operating manual. The
manufacturer reserves the right to make any necessary or useful changes to the products without com-
promising the essential characteristics.
1.2.2

Responsibilities of the operator

• The operating instructions must be read by the responsible personnel/operator before all work on
and in connection with the Conel Stream and must be fully understood.
• The contents of the operating instructions must be always available onsite;
• Instructions directly attached to the Conel Stream must be observed and kept in a fully legible state;
• The operator is responsible for compliance with local regulations not considered in the operating
instructions;
• Responsibility, responsibility and supervision of the specialist personnel must be carefully regulated
by the operator during installation, operation, maintenance and inspection;
