 Unfold the folding legs if you are work-
ing without pre-filter (only SCP 12000 ).
You can buy the pre-filter as an acces-
sory.

 In the Automatic mode set the level
switch to the desired switching height.

 If the switching height is inadequate for
automatic mode press together the
clamps of the level sensor, remove the
level sensor out of the guiding tracks
and position it to the desired switching
height.

 In manual mode press together the
clamps of the level sensor and remove
it from the guide tracks. Press the level
sensor at the bottom into the guide
tracks and push it upwards till the sen-
sor locks into the contact bracket.

 Place the pump on a level, stabile sur-
face in the liquid to be transported, en-
sure that it is standing firmly or immerse
it using a rope tied to the handle.
The suction area should not be blocked
fully or partially through the impurities.

Operation
The fluid level must be minimum 3 cm (SCP
1200) or 8 cm (SDP 14000) for the pump to
suck in automaticallt.
If the liquid level is less than 4 cm (only
SCP 12000), proceed according to instruc-
tions in the chapter of flat suction.
 Plug in the main plug.

Automatic operation

In the automatic mode, the level switch
controls the pumping operations. The
pump starts when the fluid level reaches
the level sensor. The pump switches off au-
tomatically after 10 to 60 seconds (depend-
ing on the ambient conditions) when the
fluid level falls below the level sensor. The
pump automatically conducts the adapta-
tion to the necessary trail time. Thi setting
remains saved for a max. of 24 hours or un-
til the mains plug is pulled out. If the mains
plug is pulled prior to the 24 hour time peri-
od, or after the 24 hours have elapsed, the
pump will automatically set the trail time to
the set value of 10 seconds.
The optimising of the trail time prevents fre-
quent switching on and off of the pump dur-
ing rapidly increasing water levels. In this
case, the pump will work even more effec-
tively, the higher the level sensor is in-
stalled.

Manual operation

In manual opertions the pump remains
switched on continuously.
Note:
Dry run leads to increased wear and tear;
do not leave the pump unattended when it
is running. Switch off the pump within 3
minutes of dry running.
